The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Oceans and Ice Branch conducts
basic research in the ocean and polar sciences with emphasis on the
roles of oceans and ice in the global climate and ecosystem. The
branch members are involved in NASA spaceflight programs and
individual research, as well as participating in large cooperative
inter-institutional and international field programs.
