- Collection offers digital maps of Manitobas Communities, Townships, Parish lots, survey plans and special projects such as Portage Diversion and Winnipeg Floodway. Maps are available in vector and raster formats. The dataset of parcel boundaries are computed from registered plans of survey and contain input plan dimensions, lot/block/plan numbers, unique parcel identifiers, street names, township/section fabric and natural boundaries where applicable. The data is spatially referenced to the prevailing national geodetic survey datum (NAD83) through direct occupation of selected property corners with GPS technology. A series of related ASCII text files of parcel attributes include unique polygon identification numbers (PINS) , parcel plan source information, topology data, and x,y UTM parcel location coordinates.
