The Dalhousie University Department of Oceanography conducts research
in atmospheric science, biological oceanography, chemical
oceanography, geological oceanography and physical
oceanography. Projects worked on include the Joint Global Ocean Flux
Study (JGOFS), the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE), and the
Surface Ocean Lower Atmosphere Study (SOLAS).
