- INFRARED RADIOMETERS are meters used to detect and measure
radiant energy that is either electromagnetic or acoustic and
that is also in the infrared part of the electromagnetic
spectrum (visible spectrum at its red end); Infrared is
electromagnetic wave frequencies below the visible range which
