- The Bureau of Marine Resources headquarters is located in East Setauket, New
York on Long Island and serves the entire marine and coastal district of the
State of New York. The marine and coastal district includes all the waters of
the Atlantic Ocean within three nautical miles from the state coastline,
including Long Island Sound and the Hudson River up to the Tappan Zee Bridge.
The bureau protects and manages marine fisheries and habitats for all New
Yorkers to enjoy.
