The John Innes Centre, located on the Norwich Research Park (UK), is
an international centre of excellence in plant and microbial
science. Its mission is to carry out fundamental and strategic
research, to train scientists and to make its findings available to
society.
The scientific research at the Centre makes use of a wide range of
disciplines in the biological and chemical sciences, including cell
biology, biochemistry, chemistry, genetics and molecular biology. JIC
science contributes to UK Technology Foresight priority areas and the
needs of its sponsors and user communities.
