- The Department of Plant Sciences is recognized as a center of excellence in
teaching, training and research directed towards addressing many of these
issues. The Department has been completely refurbished and is equipped with
state-of-the-art instrumentation, plant growth and herbarium facilities. The
interdisciplinary nature of our research activities is directed towards
improving our understanding of all aspects of plant biology at molecular,
cellular, tissue, whole-organism and environmental levels.
