OF Physical Geography represents three classic natural geographic topics in
teachings and research.
In the teachings the methodical disciplines geo computer science, (geo -)
statistics and GIS form an emphasis in our training offer, in order to ensure a
competitive, at the market requirements oriented qualification of students,
graduate students and scholarship holders for occupations in science and
practice apart from specialized scientific topics.
The research work has the superordinate goal of seizing of evaluating in order
consequences of anthropogener interferences in the ecosystem as well as the
consequences of climatic changes or weather events for natural-space resources
lateral processes and process cycles in natural and anthropogen affected
ecological systems quantitatively, models and to prognosticate to be able.
