The International Organization of Palaeobotany (IOP) manages the
Plant Fossil Record database (PFR).
This version, PFR2.2, has descriptive details of most plant
fossil genera and of those modern genera, which have fossil
species.
It also has records of some fossil occurrences, taken from the
published literature or museum catalogues. The occurrences give
geographical and stratigraphical information as well as the name
of the author.
