Bioversity is also supported by a registered charity in the United Kingdom, and in the United States by a Foundation that has 501(c)(3) status. Bioversity's headquarters are in Maccarese, Italy, just outside Rome, where we work closely with UN Agencies such as FAO, IFAD and WFP. However, the vast majority of our staff work from 20 offices that cover the regions of the world. In addition, we are pleased to host some system-wide activities on behalf of the CGIAR.
