- The Terra Cognita GIS and Spatial Analysis Laboratory is a unique research facility. Located in the Department of Geosciences (204 Wilkinson Hall) Terra Cognita is open to all principal investigators in the College of Science, their students and cooperators. In this facility, high end workstations and peripherals are maintained. The laboratory provides cutting edge geographical information systems (GIS), image processing, statistical analysis and publishing software. In addition, GIS consulting, system administration, network security, and data storage are provided.
