definition
  • We are using ice-penetrating radar data collected over the course of several field seasons in West Antarctica to analyze and detect englacial radar layers. These radar layers are due to fluctuations in density, acidity and crystal fabrics within the ice, which reflect the radar waves that our ground-based system transmits into the ice.
