- The Soil and Water Conservation Research Unit (SWCRU) is one of about 300
research units in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS). They are responsible
for addressing questions, and solving problems, through research on crop
production systems that have regional and national implications to
sustainability of crop productivity and conservation of soil, water, and air
resources.
