- The Minnesota Project distributes timely information on all aspects of
pesticide use and impact, within the context of an Integrated Pest Management
(IPM) approach. Data are collected via user, grower and food processor surveys,
and from current IPM research programs at the University of Minnesota. We are
part of the North Central Pest Management Center (NCPMC), established in 1998
by Congress, with oversight and funding provided by the United States
Department of Agriculture. This program is also carried out in cooperation with
the Minnesota IPM Program, the Minnesota Pesticide Applicator Training Program
(PAT), the University of Minnesota, Department of Entomology and the
University of Minnesota Extension Service.
