- We conducted field sampling for detecting forest ecosystem response to climate warming/cooling processes in the past. Selected sites were northen Finland (Vario), middle Finlad (Kangasvaara), and western Estonian islands (Saaremaa and Hiiumaa Islands). Tree ring patterns of Pinus sylvestris among sites were analysed.
