hasSummary
  • CO2 record from the Dome Fuji ice core (Antarctica) covering the last 260 kyr with relatively low resolution. Air was extracted by a dry method and measured with a gas chromatograph. Gravitational enrichment of CO2 in firn is corrected by d15N data measured on the same samples. Analytical precision (including air extraction and measurement) is 1.5 ppm (one standard deviation). Note that the data for ~30-55 kyr b2k are too low by up to 20 ppmv because of fractionation between air bubbles and clathrate hydrates. Age scale is DFO-2006 from Kawamura et al. (2007, Nature). Note that age is given in b2k (before AD 2000). See original reference for further details. See also Dome Fuji CO2 data (1-338 kyr b2k) measured with wet extraction method.
